This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Christopher Mackin who was born in Virginia on April 11, 1980 and passed away on April 11, 2010. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
I was also known as "CJ" or James Mackin; I grew up in Chesterfield and Powhatan County. I was murdered in the city of Richmond on April 11, 2010 on my 30th Birthday during a home invasion robbery. Killed along with me was my roommate’s dog who is also my cousin, the dogs name was Smouches. This site is being done by my mother so that she can let my friends and family know what is going on with me and my murder. Postings as to what is going on will be posted regularly as they happen. So far arrested for my murder is Brian Keith. Butts he is charged with the following: Muder1, use of a firearm in a murder, robbery, use of a firearm in a robbery, petty larceny, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Damian Donnell Lipscomb has been charged with robbery & use of a firearm in a robbery, Dimitrik Jerome Pendleton has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and so has Timothy Eugene Hunter. Butts & Hunter both had convictions one in 1999 and the other in 2001 each had 15 years Butts for Robbery, Hunter for rape both have had felon convictions since then and neither was ever given more then 12 months of their suspended time.
Brian Butts pled guilty to First Degree Murder and under a plea agreement was sentenced to 40 years in prison his projected release date at this time is Aug. 20, 2046
Damian Lipscomb plead guilty to Robbery and under a plea agreement was sentenced to 30 years with 15 suspended his projected release date is May 3, 2023
Dimitrik Jerome Pendelton pled guilty to Robbery and under a plea agreement was sentenced to 10 years with 9 years suspended he will be getting out of jail in Feb 2012
Timothy Hunter was found guilty of Assessory Before the Fact of Robbery & Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and was sentenced to 25 years do not know his release date at this time. He was also found guilty of Possession of Drugs While at Inmate this came from charges he received while in Jail waiting on trial for James's case.
DeAndre Booker pled guilty to Obstruction of Justice and was sentenced to 12 months with all suspended and commuinty service was ordered
